CHICKEN SHAWARMA
A flavourful, spiced chicken wrap with creamy hummus, tangy pickled cabbage, and cooling minted yogurt, all wrapped in soft Khobez bread.

- 500 g Theo’s Original Chicken Sliced
- 6 Khobez breads
- 200 hummus
- 1/2 red cabbage (finely shredded)
- 1 tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 5 g parsley (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 200 g Theo's yoghurt & mint sauce
Cook the chicken in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes (stir halfway through)
Finely shred the red cabbage and place it in a large bowl.
Add chilli flakes, salt, sugar, parsley, red wine vinegar and lemon juice into the cabbage and toss well.
Warm Khobez bread slightly to make it pliable.
Spread hummus evenly over each wrap.
Add a layer of spicy pickled red cabbage.
Place the warm chicken slices on top.
Drizzle with minted yoghurt.
Roll up the wrap tightly, folding in the sides to hold the fillings.
Slice in half and serve immediately.
